KONTENT - 'Repulsive' EP [SDS002]

Kontent is a 23 year old 140, Garage and Bassline DJ & Producer from Norwich, UK. When DJ'ing at events, he doesn't like to limit himself, therefore incorporates some Jungle and Breaks into sets! Influenced by heavy Drum & Bass and 140, his passion for DJing started in 2008/9 when he was strictly mixing vinyl, but has now made the switch to digital.

Keen to progress in the music scene, Kontent started producing in 2013, working along side Leeds based producer Joedan. Together creating the duo "Two Tons" focusing mainly on producing Bassline. This powerful duo received support from RINSE FM & Marcus Nasty and had their track "Blow" signed to Tumble Audio after a short space of time producing together.

As time has progressed, he has consistently worked on mastering his own production, working with artists such as @mindofadragon, IAMBRU and Window Kid to name a few. In 2019, his 140 became the main focus again, releasing guest mixes for Source UK & Sib Mob. Around this time Kontent has became involved with local crew Dub, Sweat & Beers, DJing and producing with the crews own Imanzi on the regular. They've recently released "Fidget Dub" through the label Simply Deep and are continuing to make a huge impact on the Norwich scene and beyond!
